We believe

Here is the core of our beliefs.

  • The Bible is the word of God, and the base of our conduct and faith. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • There is only one real and undividable God, the “I AM” who revealed himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 8:58; 1 John 5:20)
  • God became flesh in Jesus-Christ, miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit, born from a virgin, lived a sinless life and he was both real Man and real God. In him dwells the fullness of Deity in bodily form. (Colossians 2:9; John 1:1)
  • Man, by nature, is basically sinful and unable to save himself by his own deeds. (Roman 3:10-11)
  • Jesus-Christ paid, fully and eternally, the punishment resulting from the original sin, by his death on the cross. (Romans 5:8; 6:23)
  • We are saved by grace through faith and obedience to the gospel. (Ephesians 2:8; Acts 3:19)
  • Like the apostles, we baptize by immersion, in water in the name of Jesus-Christ. (Acts 2:38)
  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit, confirmed by speaking in other tongues, is a subsequent experience to salvation. This baptism and the nine spiritual gifts still operate in today’s church. (Acts 1:5;1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
  • Believers should live a life of holiness and observe the Bible precepts, which include the Lord’s Supper, in commemoration of his death, and the tithing and offerings, as God’s financial plan for his Church. (Malachi 3:10; Corinthians 11:23-32; Hebrews 12:14)
  • We will all appear before Christ and be accountable for our life. His judgment will either be eternal life or damnation. (2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)
